DocSats provides an AI-powered estate planning document creation tool. Our Service uses artificial intelligence to guide users through creating estate planning documents, including wills, healthcare directives, and powers of attorney. Documents may be encrypted and stored on IPFS, with proof metadata inscribed on the Bitcoin blockchain.

The documents generated by our Service are for informational purposes only and do not constitute legal advice, legal representation, or an attorney-client relationship. Our AI-generated documents are tools to assist you, not substitutes for professional legal counsel.
We strongly recommend that all documents generated through DocSats be reviewed by a licensed attorney in your state before execution. The validity of estate planning documents depends on proper execution according to your state's specific requirements.
DocSats does not guarantee that documents generated will be legally valid in any jurisdiction. State laws vary significantly, and legal requirements change over time. Complex estate situations — including but not limited to estates exceeding $1 million, blended families, business ownership, special needs beneficiaries, and tax planning — may require additional legal guidance beyond what our Service provides.
You must be at least 18 years old and legally competent to create estate planning documents in your jurisdiction. By using our Service, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use. DocSats will never ask for your passwords, Social Security numbers, or financial account numbers.
All purchases are one-time payments processed through Stripe. Prices are listed in US Dollars. We offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the Service, contact us within 30 days of purchase for a full refund. Refund requests can be made by emailing support@docsats.com.
Your privacy is critically important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your information. Key points:
• Client-side encryption ensures DocSats never has access to unencrypted document content.
• Encryption keys are split using Shamir's Secret Sharing and distributed to your designated beneficiaries.
• Only proof metadata (IPFS content identifier, document hash, timestamp) is inscribed on Bitcoin — no personal information is stored on-chain.
Bitcoin inscriptions are permanent and cannot be modified or deleted once confirmed on the blockchain. By using our inscription service, you acknowledge and accept the permanent nature of blockchain records. IPFS storage is provided through third-party pinning services, and while designed for permanence, availability may depend on continued pinning.
The DocSats platform, including its design, code, AI prompts, and branding, is owned by DocSats. Documents generated through the Service belong to you. You grant DocSats no rights over the content of your documents.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, DOCSATS AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR USE, ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO DOCSATS IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
DocSats is not liable for any legal consequences resulting from the use, execution, or enforcement of documents generated through our Service.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. DocSats does not warrant that documents generated will be legally enforceable in any jurisdiction.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless DocSats from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website with a new "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users or DocSats. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, but these Terms continue to apply to your prior use.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of New York County, New York.
